Delightful Butterfly Cupcakes that are visually stunning and easy to make, perfect for spring celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Edible glitter for decoration

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely before slicing off the tops to create wings.
  7. Fill the centers with frosting and position the tops as wings.
  8. Dust with edible glitter for sparkle!

Notes

Make sure to not overmix the batter to avoid dense cupcakes. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
