Delicious Chicken Shawarma marinated in aromatic spices, served with a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • Pita bread for serving
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
  • Pickles for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, and salt for at least 1 hour.
  2. Cook the marinated chicken over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through, about 20 minutes.
  3. Let the chicken rest before slicing it.
  4. Prepare the garlic sauce by mixing minced garlic with yogurt or olive oil until smooth.
  5. Slice the chicken and drizzle with the garlic sauce.
  6. Serve with warm pita bread and toppings like parsley, cilantro, or pickles.
