Delightful fritters combining the sweetness of fresh pineapple with a light, crispy batter for a perfect snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • Fresh pineapple, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Oil for frying
  • Honey or powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pineapple by cutting it into pieces.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet until hot.
  4. Coat pineapple pieces in the batter.
  5. Fry in batches in the hot oil until golden brown.
  6. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve warm with honey or powdered sugar, or alongside yogurt or ice cream.

Notes

For perfectly crispy fritters, do not overcrowd the pan while frying. Try adding coconut flakes or spices for creative twists.
