A divine cake featuring tropical guava, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup guava puree
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix in the guava puree until well combined.
  4. Fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Glaze if desired, or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
