A moist and aromatic banana bread recipe that’s perfect for using up overripe bananas.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas with melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  4. Whisk in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well-blended.
  5. Mix the baking soda and salt with the flour, then gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
