A delightful dish of tender tortellini enveloped in a creamy sauce, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz tortellini (cheese or spinach)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini in a pot of boiling water until they float, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Sauté garlic in a skillet until fragrant, then add in the cream and seasonings.
  3. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes to thicken.
  4. Combine the drained tortellini with the sauce, stirring gently to coat.
  5. Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan and a garnish of basil.

Notes
