Charming and sweet Mini Flower Pies with a flaky crust and versatile fillings, perfect for gatherings or as a delightful dessert.

Ingredients

  • Flaky pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • Filling of choice (seasonal fruits, custards, etc.)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven.
  2. Roll out the dough to about a quarter-inch thick.
  3. Cut out flower shapes from the dough.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of half the flowers.
  5. Moisten the edges with water.
  6. Top with remaining flower shapes and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Bake until puffed and golden, watching closely to avoid overbaking.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze them before baking, wrapped individually.
