A warm and inviting peach cobbler featuring sweet, juicy peaches topped with a buttery, rich batter baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the peaches and toss them with sugar and lemon juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Slowly stir in the milk and melted butter until you achieve a thick batter.
  5. Spoon the peach mixture into a baking dish and dollop the batter over the top.
  6. Bake until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling, about 30-35 minutes.
