A delightful banana bread infused with Italian flavors, perfect for breakfast or as a cozy snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas with olive oil and eggs.
  4. Whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and spices in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
