Delightful cookies that combine the flavors of cheesecake and strawberries in a chewy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: Chopped nuts or graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace and gather your tools.
  2. Mix the cookie dough until it’s soft and pliable.
  3. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  4. Create small balls of dough, then flatten them slightly.
  5. Add a dollop of cheesecake filling in the center.
  6. Enclose the filling with dough and reshape into a ball.
  7. Place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven once edges are lightly browned.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute regular flour with a gluten-free blend. Use dairy-free cream cheese for a dairy-free option.
