A delightful dessert combining luscious strawberries and creamy coconut in a chewy sago base, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
  • Fresh strawberry slices for garnish
  • Toasted coconut for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sago pearls in boiling water until translucent, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse the pearls under cold water.
  3. Heat the coconut milk with sugar until dissolved.
  4. Combine the cooled sago pearls with the coconut milk mixture.
  5. Fold in the pureed strawberries.
  6. Chill the mixture in the fridge until set, about 1 hour.
  7. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberry slices or toasted coconut.
